The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Cuvee Margot delivers aromas of pear, yellow orchard fruit, oatmeal and clear honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and suave palate that’s charming and saline, reflecting the success that this estate has enjoyed across the range this year.

Pale lemon. A little more weight of fruit, with only a fraction of reduction. A strong lemon character through the middle, on top of pure white fruit, with a medium body and good persistence. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted: October 2023.
Originating from four separate plots that are co-fermented, the 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Village Margot has a fresh and lively, sea spray-tinged bouquet with a real spring in its step. The palate is fresh on the entry, quite linear, with just a dab of spice intertwined with orange rind and lemon thyme. Impressive persistence on the finish, given that this is a Village Cru. Very fine.
