Tasting Notes
Vinous 92
The 2021 Saint-Aubin en Montceau 1er Cru has the most mineralite and terroir expression amongst Colin’s three single-vineyard bottlings from the appellation. Here, there is impressive delineation and focus. The palate is well balanced with a sapid entry, taut and fresh; there’s crisp acidity with a lemony "bite" on the finish. Delightful.
Anticipated maturity: 2023-2035
Jasper Morris 90-93
Mid lemon yellow. Damien says this cuvee is divisive between those who find it fleshy and those who find it tight. Today it is showing in more opulent style on the nose. There is a rich yellow fruit, almost some sucrosity, but with a very good underlying tension. More body than Chateniere less elegance.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2029
