Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 87-88
Fine-boned and precise, the 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay offers up aromas of pear, citrus oil, white flower and clear honey, followed by a medium-bodied, vibrant palate. This year, it will see longer maturation on the lees, which will likely deliver more texture.
Vinous 85
The 2021 Bourgogne Chardonnay has a pretty, minty bouquet that has a spring in its step. The palate is well balanced with a crisp, chalky entry and modest depth, though it is just missing a little tension on the finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2023-2026
Jasper Morris 87-89
Blended and being fined, would normally be bottled by now. No new wood but younger barrels than usual. As always, a strikingly classy yet undemonstrative nose. More weight up front, quite rich white fruit, very slightly biscuity. Solid more than sensual.
Anticipated maturity: 2024-2026
