Pale gold, nicely-placed citrus and quince fruit, savoury and elegant. This is a lovely white, enjoyable and sculpted. Good stuff.

The 2021 Couhins Blanc exhibits aromas of crisp green apple, pastry cream and confit citrus, followed by a medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive palate. As usual, this overperforming estate from clay-limestone soils has produced a white wine that punches above its weight.
