The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Village "Margot" comes from four parcels. The well-defined nose offers dried lemon peel and orange blossom plus a touch of chalk dust. The palate is medium-bodied with lovely white peach and nectarine notes on the entry, a fine bead of acidity and a harmonious, pretty finish. Delicious.

An expressive, and slightly riper, nose consists of notes of white and yellow peach, herbal tea and a similar touch of petrol character. The sleek and intense medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely texture while delivering fine depth and persistence for a Chassagne villages on the nicely dry finale. Good quality here and worth a look.
