Vinous 96
A wine of tremendous dimension and presence, the 2019 Pinot Noir One Acre stands out in this range of Anderson Valley Pinots because of its sheer breath. Time in the glass just brings out the wine’s heady, expansive personality. Ripe red/purplish berry fruit, lavender, spice and licorice flesh out effortlessly. The One Acre is simply exceptional.

Robert Parker 94
The 2019 Pinot Noir One Acre comes from vines planted at 1,600 feet in elevation, with exposure to the winds off the Pacific Ocean. Medium ruby, it has wild, alluring aromas of iodine, seaweed, iron and burnt orange, fleshing out to licorice-laced cranberry with time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate boasts powerful, earthy fruits in a silky, seamless frame, and it finishes with loads of spicy nuances. 444 cases were made. It deserves 3-5 years to unwind in bottle.
