Tasting Notes
Burghound 89-91
A ripe and rather floral-suffused nose of mainly citrus and apple is trimmed in discreet oak nuances. There is both good volume and vibrant to the delicious, intense and saliva-inducing middle weight flavors that are at once racy yet opulent on the balanced and moderately firm finale. A good start to the range.

The 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé is a blend of 32 plots from around the village, some on granitic soils and others on marls and clays. It has a crisp nose with scents of apple orchard and orange pith that are focused and lively. The palate is well balanced with lovely grapefruit, orange zest and citrus peel. A fine bead of acidity with a touch of nuttiness comes through on the finish. What more could you want from a Pouilly-Fuissé? Not much! The 2019 is a Pouilly-Fuissé that puts a skip into your step.

Robert Parker 90
The 2019 Pouilly-Fuissé bursts with aromas of pear, hazelnuts, white flowers, toasted almonds and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, bright and precise, with tangy acids and a nicely concentrated finish, it concludes with a gently oak-inflected finish.
