I tasted the 2017 Masseto from two core lots; a young-vines blend and then a second sample of the estate’s older vines. the young-vines wine naturally lacks some of the depth of the old-vines blend, but both show tremendous fruit purity and class. Although it is very early, the 2017 Masseto has the potential to develop into a truly stunning wine.
