Robert Parker 94
A powerful and meaningful expression of Sangiovese, the 2015 Brunello di Montalcino opens to dark and savory notes with blackberry and black current, showing some added extraction and richness in this beautiful vintage. The wine seems to build intensity and bandwidth within a relatively short time after being poured from the bottle. Ultimately, it offers an open and generous style that drinks well straight out of the gate, if you simply don’t want to wait. Some 32,000 bottles were made.
