Musky aromas of apricot, flinty minerals, honey and earth; as obviously Nuits-Saint-Georges as chardonnay. The earthy character carries through on the palate, which is nicely enlivened by saline minerality and sound acidity. Today the fruit is in the deep background. [Stephen Tanzer, 09/01/2013]
