Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 80
First tasted in April 2001: disappointed with this. A fragrant floral nose. Quite sweet and light on the palate. Ripe blackcurrant. Moderate length. Lacks the roundness of other 2000 wines. Again in July 2003: this wine really seems to have benefited from some bottle aging. A dense blackcurrant palate which has rounded out and become more fleshy and better balanced. Not incredibly complex but a fine introduction to the 2000 vintage. Drinking now and over 3 years. Tasted July 2003
Anticipated maturity: 2003-2006
