Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 93
Deep, opaque black/garnet core. The nose has much more definition and vigour than the ’91 with sweet ripe black cherries, bilberry and violets. Very lifted and lively. The palate is sweet, ripe and elegant with a lovely poise and tension, certainly the best Croft since the ’66. Very ripe tannins with black cherries, bilberry, cassis and a minerally quality coming through towards the finish. A return to form, a lovely Croft with a coquettish quality. Tasted November 2007.
