Christie’s Paris Fine Wine sale on 26 June achieved a total of €978,477. The top price was for an exceptional lot of 12 bottles of Pétrus Vintage 1982 which sold for €37,950.

Other great wines attracted the interest of buyers across the world including a lot of 12 bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild Vintage 1982 which sold for €27,600, and a lot of 12 bottles of Pétrus Vintage 1964 which realised €25,300.

There was strong international participation with 20 different nationalities represented among buyers. These results demonstrate the on-going international demand for high quality rare wines at auction. Internet buyers were also very active throughout the auction with a total of €237,240 spent on Christie’s Live, representing 33% of the total lots sold.
